A reputable bank is seeking a SVP, Credit Approver (Commercial Banking) to join the team.
The role objective is to manage the bank’s portfolio exposure to clients and counterparties. You will be responsible for leading credit review and approval activities such as evaluating and approving credit proposals in compliance with risk and regulatory requirements. Participate in portfolio reviews and stress testing activities, and support internal and regulatory audits.
The ideal candidate should have at least 15 years relevant experience in credit risk management in the banking sector. Good understanding of cash, trade, derivative products, and market/counterparty risk. Candidates who have credit approving authority experience will be highly considered.
