Key Responsibilities:
  • Report to CEO directly, highly visible role to C-suite stakeholders (lean team)
  • Key role to support the on-going development and finance activities including debt sourcing, financial and tax structuring for each investment deal, loan covenant monitoring and reporting
  • Lead financial and tax structuring for each investment in each of the firm’s key markets
  • Review and evaluate various financing solutions and structures for projects, including analysis and recommendation of the appropriate strategy to raise new debt/refinance
  • Scope and review financial and tax due diligence for each investment
  • Debt sourcing for new investments or refinancing including the negotiation of financing term sheets
  • Liaising with banks, present and negotiate terms, understand financial returns
  • Review and negotiate loan documentation and credit agreements with lenders and external counsel
  • Track and monitor loan portfolio, including interest costs, loan covenants and reviewing cashflow/refinancing needs
  • Involvement in the preparation and review of regular reports and periodic group treasury reporting
 
Pre-requisites:
  • Bachelor’s degree from any discipline
  • Minimum 5-8 years’ working experience
  • Prior working experience handling structured/ debt / corporate project finance in a corporate or banking environment
  • Experience in similar industries (Renewable energy, Infra, Energy etc) or relevant industries and debt financing arrangement will be good to have
  • Good understanding of financial structures and ability to communicate complex, abstract and/or difficult messages in simple, clear manner
  • A self-motivated team player who is meticulous, organized and able to learn quickly, independently with strong analytical skills.
  • A strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management skill and ability to work well with different functions and levels.
  • Strong financial modelling skills and meticulous with details, accurate with numbers
