Our client is a leading financial services organisation currently going through a major finance transformation and modernisation program.  They are looking for an experience Project Manager with an accounting and finance background to lead manage the finance and data stream delivery.


  • Leading, planning and delivery of large large-scale Finance and Data transformation program.
  • Take full accountability for one of the workstreams to ensure the end-to-end delivery within business and technology environment.
  • Communicate effectively in both spoken and written forms both internally and externally to the stakeholders and external partners. 
  • Provide workstream status updates to the Program Manager and Finance Leadership Team (FLT) for governance & Steering Committee reporting.
  • Share knowledge and skills and consistently mentor the team
  • Comfortable working through ambiguity and ever-changing timelines and business assumptions
  • Identify and engage senior stakeholder(s)
  • Plan, estimates and manages business analysis and design deliverables
  • Facilitate the estimation of effort, duration and time working with the respective Technology Delivery Manager, Solution Designer reporting status, milestones and dependencies to the FLT

Required skills and experience:

  • Extensive project management experience within large financial services organisations
  • Strong finance background (ideally CA/CPA qualified) with track record of delivering finance transformation programs
  • Sound knowledge of end-to-end project delivery methodologies Waterfall, Hybrid, and AGILE practices
  • Good knowledge of requirements gathering techniques with focus on financial functions and Data
  • Demonstrable stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work well, communicate with both business and technology stakeholders
