Drive the implementation of a net zero roadmap, including data analysis and target setting. Participate in annual sustainability reporting processes, including TCFD and UN PRI disclosures.
Handle periodic reporting, tracking and managing of data related to net zero to develop strategy to reduce carbon emissions
Assist to drive content development and update of various sustainability communication channels. Manage sustainability learning for employees.
Identify and evaluate emission reduction opportunities and pathways
Manage climate risk-related analysis and reporting
Support various sustainability initiatives, such as staff green initiatives, tree planting, investor engagement on ESG matters, environmental data management system implementation, etc.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Environment Science or Sustainability or relevant studies.
Minimum 5 to 8 years’ experience in a business setting with a focus on sustainability and climate risk.
Experience in setting and implementing corporate emissions reductions goals aligned best industry standards such as with the Science-Based Target Initiative (SBTi).
Experience in corporate sustainability reporting and familiar with various sustainability reporting and benchmarking mechanisms such as Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), GRESB, Taskforce on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), UN Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI).
Knowledge of key methodologies associated with energy and carbon reduction in the built environment, e.g., energy assessments, carbon foot printing, life cycle assessment, carbon management would be ideal.
Strong programme and project management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with different levels of stakeholders.
Candidates with sustainability project experiences will have added advantage.
