We have a brilliant opportunity for a Senior Manager, Business Controls and Monitoring to be part of a ASX Listed Business.

Duties:
  • Responsible for evaluating, directing and monitoring the activities that enable Director and Senior Management to exercise effective risk oversight over projects, programs, and portfolios and ensure their strategies are implemented, risks are managed, and benefits realised.
  • You will be in a pool of resources allocated to whichever Executive Manager requires it, whether it be Institutional Banking, Technology, or Corporate Services (legal/finance/HR).
  • Once the project has been delivered your role is to focus on the Technology Risk flowing from the implementation or whatever the project may be.
  • You will have a strong focus on risk service delivery and assess change as well as supporting group strategy and taking a lead role in activities.
Your background:
  • Extensive experience across Technology Risk and controls.
  • Solid Financial Services background.
  • Relevant industry and other professional qualifications (e.g. CA, CISA, CRISC, CIA, CFA, FRM, MBA).
  • Experience within a 'Big 4' firm would be preferable or previous experience in Technology Risk from within a large financial services institution.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High ethical standards with collaborative personality, possessing ability to identify, scope and solve issues.
  • Result oriented and able to work under pressure independently or as part of a team.
