My client is a leading ASX Listed Financial Services group.  Head Office located in Sydney with a global footprint including offices in the UK and US.  Due to an internal move a Senior Finance Business Partner role has been created.  The purpose of this role is to provide effective decision support and finance business partnering to the Group Exec for Group Technology & Operations.

Your key responsibilities will include:    
  • Provide Business Partner support to the Group Exec for Operations and Technology;
  • Drive and support the business in achieving its financial and strategic goals; 
  • Develop regular and pro-active engagement with senior business stakeholders to understand their results, tracking against key performance measurement goals and changes to forecasts;
  • Collaborating with business and other Finance functions in producing the annual plan and forecast;
  • Perform Financial Modelling & Business Case projections when required;
  • Contribute to half-yearly, annual management discussion and analysis for inclusion in external reports and briefings;

Key requirements for the role include:
  • CA / CPA / CIMA (or other relevant post-grad)
  • Minimum of 8 years hands-on finance business partnering or FP&A experience
  • Financial Services industry experience, with strong knowledge of Operations, Technology and Project Delivery functions
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Commercial acumen
