Be part of a leading Financial Services group with a strong market presence. Due to a recent restructure this prominent group has identified the need for a Senior Audit Manager. You will report to a Head of Internal Audit and will have broad internal audit tasks, leading and overseeing Audit Managers and Snr Auditors.
  • Lead and participate in Internal Audit assignments in accordance with the Internal Audit Methodology, processes and procedures.
  • Ability to deliver high quality end-to-end audits and multiple audit projects in operations and corporate functions.
  • Interest in utilising data analytics as part of your audits, leading integrated audits with the internal IT Audit and DA team.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment taking responsibility for audit planning and development of the audit programme, preparing all relevant audit papers and reports and presenting to the business.
  • Lead and manage exit meetings with stakeholders including driving special internal projects.
  • Lead and coach team members.
This opportunity will be suitable for a qualified CPA, CA, ACCA, CIA or CISA with at least 7 years experience in either Internal or External audit. You will display above average communication and interpersonal skills and have worked in or with the General / Life / Re-Insurance / Wealth Management / Superannuation or broader FS / Banking sectors.  We are open to your product experience, however you must have had recent staff leadership experience.
