Ethos BeathChapman have partnered with a leading international financial services group, to assist them with their search for a Senior Finance Analyst - Group Performance.  This role is an initial 12 month fixed term contract with potential to convert to permanent for the right candidate.

With a focus on driving increased revenue growth whilst effectively managing costs across the business, this role will afford the successful candidate the opportunity to business partner directly with senior stakeholders, providing valuable insights and analysis to help drive informed decisions.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to, delivering across the following key areas:
  • Provide management reporting, including variance analysis and commentary;
  • Produce consolidated monthly/quarterly management packs;
  • Drive, design and deliver targeted analysis that gives meaningful insights into business performance;
  • Support the annual strategy, budget & semi-annual forecasting. This will include working with budget owners in planning of headcount as well as ensuring accurate forecasting of non-headcount driven expenses
  • Responsible to help drive and implement Finance process efficiencies and operational excellence, as well as acting as the finance data SME for the business you support;

To be successful, you will have a between 3 - 6 years’ experience with a proven background in commercial finance business partnering and/or management accounting. More specifically, you will demonstrate the following qualifications and key attributes:
  • CA or CPA Qualified;
  • Previous experience gained in a management accounting, financial analyst or a FP&A style role with specific Financial Services industry experience.  Non Financial Services industry experience will be considered however, experience working for a large complex public listed companyis required;
  • An ability to interrogate data, and ultimately be responsible for delivering actionable insights to a range of stakeholders;
  • As a confident and driven individual, your attention to detail and demonstrated communication skills will help provide the platform for you to tell the story behind the numbers;
  • Strong business partnering experience with the ability to actively engage with a large and varied stakeholder group;
