The Company: -

A reputable Insurance Company is looking for talented people to join their expanding team in Hong Kong. Due to the growth of the Company, they are now hiring for creative, ambitious, and curious people to join their Hong Kong office.  This role is initially a 6-month contract.  The Senior Accountant will be supporting the UAT testing. 

Responsibilities: -
  • Actuary UAT Testing – pricing models – first line of defence
  • Compliance with IFRS 17 & IFRS 9
  • Reconciliations & verification
  • Knowing Data
  • Technical knowledge
  • Loading accounts, errors, raising issues
  • Account mapping
  • Ad hoc duties
Requirements: -
  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting & finance
  • CPA or CA Qualified or a Provisional Member
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, straight Big 4 will be considered, with insurance experience
  • Fluency is English is mandatory, both written and spoken
  • Advance user or Microsoft Excel
  • Intermediate user of Microsoft word and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Detail oriented and excellent organisation skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Strong attention to details
  • Excellent team player and eagerness to participate in supporting the team
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines
  • Immediately Available
