A global financial institution is expanding its markets franchise and is looking to hire a Sales Trader. This is a hybrid front-office role combining execution, client servicing, and listed derivatives clearing support, offering exposure across both trading and risk functions.

Key responsibilities include:

(1) - Execution & Market Coverage
- Execute client orders across exchange-traded derivatives with speed, accuracy, and full compliance with internal controls.
- Provide market colour, product knowledge, contract specifications, and real-time support to trading clients.
- Maintain high-touch interaction with institutional clients, supporting their day-to-day trading flow.

(2) - Clearing, Margin & Risk Oversight
- Monitor intraday client exposure, margin utilisation, and collateral movements.
- Support margin calls, settlement processes, and forced liquidation workflows when necessary.
- Coordinate closely with internal clearing, operations, and risk teams to ensure frictionless trade lifecycle management.
- Assist clients with trading/clearing onboarding, documentation, and account setup.

(3) - Client Engagement & Business Development
- Build strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities to grow activity.
- Participate in product discussions, sales initiatives, and commercial pitches.
- Collaborate with wider markets teams on opportunities relating to listed derivatives.

Ideal Requirements:
- 2+ years’ experience in listed derivatives, futures execution, sales trading, or futures clearing.
- Strong understanding of futures clearing, including margin methodology, collateral processes, and exchange-level rules.
- Experience dealing with institutional or professional clients.
- Ability to handle time-sensitive execution under pressure while managing multiple client requests.
- Proficiency in English; Mandarin or another Asian language is advantageous for internal & external communications and engagement
- CMFAS certification preferred.
