Responsibilities would include: 

  • Support key fund processes eg. industry research, investment opportunity evaluation, due diligence, transaction execution; and portfolio monitoring, reporting & management
  • Support deal sourcing activities, including assessing new investments
  • Lead industry research initiatives, keep up to date with sector trends
  • Construct, review and maintain detailed financial/operating models for existing portfolios and potential investments
  • Analyse and interpretation of financial statements; convey conclusions and insights clearly to senior team members
  • Maintain deal pipeline, track market M&A activity, collate internal updates and create deal presentations
  • Prepare periodic updates on the Funds’ investment sub-sectors , quarterly operational and valuation reviews

 
Profile of Ideal Candidate: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in Private Equity/ Investment Banking / Big 4/ Corporate Development/ M&A
  • Good technical skills, i.e building financial models etc
  • Attention to detail, ability to deliver under time pressure
  • Team player, good interpersonal skills
  • Strong work ethics and excellent learning / work attitude, independent and can perform without much supervision 
  • Analytical and numerate with basic accounting and finance knowledge
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills
