We are working with a well-known General Insurer looking for a Pricing Specialist to join their established team. You will be responsible for assessing technical pricing models and liaising with Committees and Senior Leaders in the business.  

Responsibilities:
  • Providing independent assessment of technical pricing models, algorithms, and processes.
  • Deriving thematic outcomes from reviews.
  • Driving continuous improvements in pricing practices.
  • Providing advice and opinions to committees and senior leaders regarding pricing matters.
  • Reporting to relevant government forums and Risk Committees on pricing matters.
Role requirements:
  • 5-10 years’ actuarial experience, ideally in GI.
  • Understanding of general insurance pricing techniques and machine learning methods.
  • Relevant qualifications.
  • Experience using tools such as SAS, SQL, R, Python, Emblem, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
