This is a newly created headcount as part of their growth plans to strengthen their Singapore team covering the Asia market. They hold strong branding and marketing within the region. They are looking for an experiences Business Development candidate who is strongly connected in the agricultural and irrigation markets across Asia. Responsibilities ofIrrigation Business Development Manager, Asia (Agriculture/Irrigation Industry)
Adept in leading the irrigation business across Asia
Building on existing markets to improve on presence, distributors’ relationships and business orders.
Managing country managers in select countries
Provides Technical and Marketing support to Country Managers
Successfully break into countries with no local presence with direct sales and setting up of distributors for all Irrigation sales in the region
Must be able to coordinate with global team to improve on both online and offline marketing presence
Be the reference point and subject matter expert for the Asia Irrigation market to designers, dealers and global marketing initiatives.
Requirements of Irrigation Business Development Manager, Asia (Agriculture/Irrigation Industry)
Holds a relevant University degree (Business, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, etc), Engineering degree or other technical education or experience is an advantage
Background and proven successful track record in sales of products (not services) in the region
Experience in agricultural businesses, preferably in the irrigation industry.
Proven track record of winning projects for the company/team.
Holds min. 3-5years of leadership experience in leading a small sales team
