Responsibilities would include:
  • Key senior role to support the on-going development activities including JVs, Investments, M&A, Acquisitions, divestitures, strategy development, new business development at the corporate and business unit level
  • Lead transactions in each of the firm’s key markets working closely with local teams and other members of the finance team
  • Highly visible role - Work along the senior management, C-suite and head of team to contribute to and lead high-performing project teams
  • Prepare RFP’s, evaluation of proposals, negotiations leading to the appointment of financial advisors
  • Conduct financial modelling to assess / support acquisitions, present financial analysis to key stakeholders
  • Work with the financing team members to assist in the evaluation of financing solutions and structures
  • Develop network internally and externally with various stakeholders, i.e. local teams, banks, advisors, etc.
 
Profile of ideal candidate:
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • 8-12 years of relevant work experience
  • Prior working experience in similar role is an advantage (mainly investment banking, PE, advisory/consulting firm, investment role in another corporate etc)
  • Experience in power / renewable energy / infrastructure industry (or comparable industries) and/or M&A will be good to have
  • Prior experience in managing a transaction process and leading a transaction team, including driving due diligence, valuation, structuring, and SPA/SHA negotiations
  • Team player, family culture, hands on with high exposure, comfortable with working in lean teams
  • Good work ethics and can-do attitude
  • A strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management skill and ability to work well with different functions and levels.
  • Good communication, problem solving skills
