This prominent Financial Services Group owns some of the regions most respected brands in the ANZ region, while continuing to build an international platform, in Asia and other markets. Due to an internal transfer to Risk the need for a 6 MONTH CONTRACT Internal Audit Director has become available.

Reporting directly to the Group Head of Audit the main focus of this opportunity will be to build through commercial acumen, customer confidence in the audit strategy, processes and procedures across the whole of business, driving special projects and high stake holder management.

You will be part of a large audit team, playing a key role as mentor and coach to your team with additional responsibilities such as;
  • Setting a targeted Audit Process Plan.
  • Staff management and mentorship.
  • Assess risks and review controls within the organisation and provide relevant control / process improvement recommendations.
  • Manage & lead the full audit, from planning up toe Executive summaries.
  • Produce audit reports in line with departmental standards. 
The ideal candidate would be CIA / CA / ACCA / CPA or other qualified coupled with experience in Internal Audit with exposure to Financial Services, Retail or Business Banking, Super,  Wealth Management or Insurance products is preferred, however OTHER FS product exposure will be considered either working as Snr Manager and above within the Profession or the Financial Services sector. It is essential that you have gained recent internal audit reporting experience and have a proven track recorded in dealing with stakeholders.
