The Role:
My Client is a leading Bank and we are looking for a seasoned Operational Risk candidate to lead the function in Singapore. You will be given oversight across the Operational Risk pillar, and will be working closely with senior leaders within the Bank

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintains Compliance and Operational Risk policie and provide oversight of all Regulatory and Operational Risk policies
  • Subject matter expert of any Operational Risk and Controls work in the Bank
  • Ensure regulatory and operational risk requirements are appropriately addressed, inclusive of conduct risk as applicable
  • Mitigate any gaps within the business and to ensure the business is in line with Compliance and Operational Risk guidelines
  • Spearhead annual risk and compliance assessments and reporting to the board of directors
  • Create a robust Risk and Compliance culture in the business
 
Requirements:
  • A bachelors degree in a reputable university
  • 10 years of experience in an Operational Risk / Enterprise Risk role
  • Ideally in a Bank or Financial Services Firm
  • Strong understanding of Operational Risk processes
  • Ability to build a strong Risk culture within the organization.
