We are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller to join an NASDAQ listed organisation experiencing significant growth. This broad ranging senior position will be responsible for leading a small team providing over site of group consolidated cash-flow forecasting, month end close, quarterly reporting and production of financial statements.

Due to there entrepreneurial nature and rapid growth you will need to be comfortable in a hands on role where you will wear many hats. It will be expected that the Financial Controller adds strategic value and advice to the senior leadership team and takes the lead on process improvement initiatives.

Duties

  • Lead and develop a team
  • Provide technical accounting and tax advice
  • Manage statutory reporting
  • Identify and implement process improvement initiatives
  • Support the senior leadership team through accurate reporting and recommendations based on group performance
  • Ownership of financial statements

Candidate Requirements

  • Practice trained qualified accountant with post qualified experience in a listed business
  • Experience in fast growth entrepreneurial businesses a huge plus
  • Solid leadership experience
  • Excellent technical accounting knowledge and commercial acumen
