A leading hedge fund is seeking a Financial Controller to join the team in Singapore.
 
The Financial Controller will manage the Singapore based entities, covering corporate accounting and regulatory reporting, financial audits, and the relevant statutory/regulatory and tax filings; the role may potentially cover the regional entities as well. Partner external vendors and ensure that service standards are maintained. Identify any areas of improvement for systems, processes/workflow and partner key internal stakeholders for any enhancements.
 
The ideal candidate would come with at least 10-12 years’ experience, starting their career in a big 4 accounting firm before moving into a bank or other hedge funds/investment firms. You should be familiar with accounting standards in US GAAP and IFRS, and other regulatory/reporting requirements in Singapore. Strong communication skills a pre-requisite as you will be required to liaise with key stakeholders.
