The Company: - 
Leading Insurance Company, with a large global presence has a rare opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join their Hong Kong team.  Working in a collaborative setting, with an opportunity to grow and develop.   


Responsibilities: - 
  • Month-end reporting 
  • Reconciliations 
  • Treasury and investment accounting  
  • Accounting schedules 
  • Financial reporting 
  • Assisting in the annual audit 
  • Financial projects, including IFRS 17 
  • Risk Based Capital, (RBC) implementation 
  • Business support  
  • Monitoring KPI’s and assisting other business departments  
  • Ad hoc tasks as required  


Requirements: - 
  • Bachelor of Commerce or Accounting Related Discipline  
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in the insurance industry preferred 
  • Results oriented, self-motivated, with high levels of integrity  
  • Excellent time management skills  
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders, both internal and external 
  • Strong English language skills is essential  
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential  
  • Ability to improve processes and introduce efficient work practices  
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications, e.g., Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook 
  • Immediately Available will be an advantage
