The Company: -
Leading Reinsurance Firm, strong global presence, is seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to join their team in Hong Kong as a permanent headcount. This is a dynamic role to work with a collaborative team.


Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and implement internal control process, including SOX documentation
  • Work on the local regulatory filing, including annual return filing and quarterly long-term reports
  • Support the implementation of IFRS 17
  • Liaise with external and internal auditors
  • Review and improvement of financial statement close processes and local regulatory reporting processes
  • Become the subject matter expert of internal retrocession process
  • Coordinate and provide ad-hoc analysis / requests for senior management

Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant
  • At least 7 years of accounting and/or auditing experience preferably with insurance/reinsurance internal control, SOX documentation and tax filing experience
  • 1-2 years supervisory experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Good command of written skills in English
  • Proficiency in MS excel
  • For candidate with less experience, we may consider Assistant Manager position
