Responsibilities would include:
  • Build, update, and maintain detailed renewable energy project models during development, construction and operation phases
  • Prepare valuation and project update reports for stakeholders and sponsors
  • Work closely with finance and operation team to track actual project performance
  • Support project evaluation by working closely with development, legal, finance teams and external advisors to provide up-to-date information concerning local tax and regulation matters impacting company’s investments
  • Be involved in due diligence process from buy-side and sell-side
  • Carry out in-depth risk-return evaluation of investment opportunities with focus on return analysis using internally developed models
  • Provide financial projections and other supports to development team such as permit application, financial model for lenders, draft term sheets
  • Prepare investment memorandum, presentation and board papers for internal and external use
  • Provide financing ideas on new development efforts
  • Maintain relationship with investors and lenders
  • Keep track of financial instruments for monthly reporting
  • Maintain database of transactions

Profile of ideal candidate:
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Open to generalist investment candidates, but advantageous if candidates already have Renewable Energy / Infra sector experience
  • Mandatory: Financial modelling experience, either M&A / Financing  
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy transactions and its process
  • Team player, family culture, comfortable with working in small teams
  • High visibility and exposure to working with C-level, candidate has to be hands on
  • Good work ethics and can-do attitude
  • Good communication, problem solving skills
