The Role:
Research and identify prospect clients for the end-to-end proteins or antibody services offer by the company, evaluate their business needs and develop new business growth opportunity
Manage and implement long-term strategic business plan to achieve the overall corporate business goals
Create powerful business presentation materials highlighting the company’s unique preposition in the market
Develop relationships with prospect client network and drive market awareness within the network
Monitor latest drug discovery and drug development market trends and communicate new insights to Management to ensure the robustness of the business strategy
Respond to RFPs, manage negotiations and close contracts with clients
Frequent business visits required to clients’ offices
Requirements:
Degree or higher qualifications in Science / Biology / Immunology or related disciplines
At least 10 years’ working experience in pharma or life sciences industry, of which 5 years in BD or sales related capacity
Broad knowledge of drug discovery, drug development and commercialization process
Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and holds a can-do attitude
Open to business travel covering East Coast Region
