  • Candidates must have current or prior buyside investment experience in fund management or corporate principal investment team within power, energy and/or infrastructure sectors

Responsibilities would include:
  • Focus on investment activities in the regional market and manage the end-to end investment process, including originating potential deals and structuring and executing them
  • Help refine investment strategy for Infrastructure team: terms, geography, opportunity universe etc.
  • Undertake the analyzing, originating, structuring, negotiating, recommending and when approved, closing new deals, including due diligence and legal documentation, in accordance to the Investment Strategy mandated by the Investment Committee
  • Monitor all key markets to source for suitable investment opportunities and recommend suitable investment strategies that can help to deliver superior long-term risk adjusted returns
  • Build and maintain relationships with investment partners, service providers, brokers and other real estate market participants in the targeted key markets
  • Plan and implement strategies around asset management and investment exits
  • Benchmark asset performance against the market to ensure that investment return targets are achieved
 
Profile of ideal candidate:
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant buyside investment experience in fund management or corporates / corporate principal investment team, specialising in power, energy and/or infrastructure
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline 
  • Proficient with market and industry research in infrastructure, or other private equity assets
  • Very hands-on and detailed-orientated, willing and able to get hands dirty, strong financial modelling skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced dynamic environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to interact well with different functions and levels
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation and interpersonal skills. 
  • Possess superior analytical skills, commercial acumen, and a high level of strategic thinking capacity
