Responsibilities would include: 
  • Originate and execute investment banking advisory M&A transactions with focus on the above sectors across Asia pacific  
  • Lead cross-functional transaction teams comprising of industry bankers, product bankers
  • Participate actively in the account planning process for strategic clients led by coverage bankers, identify and develop a plan to capture investment banking opportunities
  • Oversee the day-to-day execution of the deal, including quality development of financial and valuation models, M&A structuring, deal tactics, due diligence, negotiation with counterparties and advisors and presentations to investment committees and boards
  • Ensure strategic & regular client engagement with decision-makers and C-suite of clients involving also the bank’s senior management.
  • Cross-selling Cash, Trade, Treasury & Markets and Investment Banking products and solutions in each pitch
  • Guide junior staff, cultivate a strong people culture and build highly motivated teams
  • Keep in the loop of all market knowledge, opportunities and industry developments, clients and targets in order to understand the business of the bank's clients and transition developments.
 
Profile of Ideal Candidate: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • Years of relevant investment banking/ M&A work experience: 10-15 years
  • Experience working on large deals
  • MANDATORY: Technical skillsets i.e M&A, financial modelling, valuation & analysis skills
  • Excellent client management skills, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good work ethics, high attention to detail
  • Good leadership mindset
  • Results oriented, resourceful and bonus if candidate has good business connections to identify and develop business opportunities
  • Team player, family culture
