Responsibilities would include:

Drive the origination, evaluation, and execution of private equity and private credit investment opportunities within Southeast Asia
Build and maintain deal flow through various channels and networks, including corporates, intermediaries, banks, and internal stakeholders
Lead client discussions and manage ongoing investor and counterparty relationships
Manage investments end-to-end, from origination and term negotiation through analysis and underwriting, investment committee approval, execution, post-deal monitoring, and exit
Prepare investment memos and develop detailed financial models to support investment decisions

Profile of ideal candidate:

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
Years of experience: 8-12 (VP) | 12-15 (Director) in evaluating investment opportunities across different industries
Strong track record in private equity and/or private credit investing in Southeast Asia
Excellent communication skills
Able to run a deal end-to-end from negotiating terms, putting together investment memos etc
Team-player and detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good work ethic with ability to work effectively and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
