We have a brilliant opportunity for a Technology Assurance Manager to be part of a ASX Listed Business. You will sit within the 2nd Line Risk Assurance team.

Duties:  
  • Accountable for preparing and delivering the annual assurance plan as approved by the Chief Risk Officer, Risk.
  • The plan must comply with risk Assurance standards which applies to SOX, prudential, operational risk, compliance, and project domains.
  • Perform reviews in line with the Risk and compliance assurance manual.
  • Prepare draft reports issued to stakeholders to ensure this lines up with risk and compliance assurance manual requirements and delivery of appropriate requirements and delivery of appropriate insight and conclusion.
  • Maintain and deliver the assurance plan.
  • Technology risk review of CORE technologies / project assurance / regulatory & prudential assurance (CPS 234/231/CPS910) / SOX (SOC1 or SOC2) assurance.
  • Conducting Thematic reviews / policy exemptions / database security reviews / group technology / controls assurance and ITGC’s.
Your background:  
  • Extensive experience within IT Audit (internal or external) or Technology risk. 
  • Relevant industry and other professional qualifications (e.g. CA, CISA, CRISC, CIA, CFA, FRM, MBA).
  • Experience within a 'Big 4' firm would be preferable or previous experience in IT audit from within a large financial services institution.
  • ITGC / Application reviews / GS007 audits / SOC 1 / SOC 2 / SOX – (clearly do not need all of this – but this is a quide.)
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High ethical standards with collaborative personality, possessing ability to identify, scope and solve issues.
  • Result oriented and able to work under pressure independently or as part of a team.
