Responsibilities would include:

  • Lead business planning and support strategy development for new and existing renewable energy markets in collaboration with business units, including management of annual planning process and strategy sessions
  • Develop well-structured decision-making materials such as management briefs, investment proposals, or similar analysis. 
  • Lead design and refinement of existing and new operating models across the company’s Singapore HQ and Asian offices, including capability analysis, process optimization, organisational design to improve operational effectiveness and consistency.
  • Manage strategic initiatives by overseeing work plans, budgets, and external vendors where required; accountable for the overall planning, execution, and good governance of these initiatives
  • Implement internal governance, operational risk, and compliance controls as required by portfolio companies.
  • Manage a wide range of stakeholders while conducting management reporting, strategy initiatives, and other projects
 

Profile of ideal candidate:

  • At least 7-10 years of experience in top strategy / management consulting company or in M&A / investment banking / transaction advisory environment, particularly working with management teams
  • Experience working in above sectors, with a good understanding of project life cycle from development, execution, to asset management
  • Collaborative team player, able to manage stakeholders, but is also an independent thinker
  • Highly analytical and structured; able to solve complex issues
  • Strong project manager with an ability to own initiatives end-to-end; proactively steps in to solve problems. 
  • Proven ability to perform in high performance environment
  • Ability to design, create, and deliver executive management presentations and reports
  • Proficient in English; Mandarin / Bahasa / Japanese language capability is an added advantage to communicate with local counterparts
