This is a superb opportunity to be part of an ASX listed business with a fabulous team culture and brand collateral. Due to recent internal changes, the Technology Risk function has been consolidated into a group function. Due to a maternity leave cover this MAX TERM 12 month contract for a Snr Technology Risk Manager has become vacant.  You will report to the EGM Risk and Compliance and will oversee and coach a small team of Technology Risk specialists.
 
Your duties:
  • Improvement to the current Technology risk frameworks & policies and if required, consult and give advice on t the frameworks and policies;
  • Ensure frameworks are moving towards best practice; and appropriate for the risks encountered by the organisation;
  • Support the audit findings  and incident breaches and challenge these where appropriate.
  • Assist in the  planning process, risk notes, updating risk profiles, record investigations, do risk reporting, dashboarding etc;
  • Lead and develop a small team of staff.
  • Strive to implement best practice in governance, new and improved approaches to IT framework and policy design including emerging risks.
The ideal candidate will:
  • CISA / CRISC / CISSP / CISM certified or have related qualification;
  • Experience in either ITIL / COBIT / or NIST frameworks advantageous.
  • Experience gained in an APRA regulatory environment with CPS 231 / 232 /234 or 235 a distinct advantage.
  • Proven experience gained in either Technology Risk Line 1 or Line 2.
  • Past or recent experience gained in risk related to Cyber Security / IT or Procurement or Transformation Programs is required.
  • Above average communication and relationship management skills is essential.
  • You will be balanced, outcome focused, commercial and pragmatic in your approach with a strong strategic mind.
  • Proven ability to influence a wide stakeholder group with an adaptable style is essential.
There is a HIGH probability to secure permanent employment in this group upon the completion of this contract.
