A market leading, global Consumer Goods company is looking for a Senior Logistics Project Manager to drive logistics operations and strategy across Europe (working location is flexible). This assignment will initially be a 6 to 9 month contract engagement.
 
As Senior Logistics Project Manager, you will manage the distribution and transportation of finished products whilst monitoring 3PL performance to ensure cost efficiency, service excellence, and alignment with the Supply Chain transformation agenda. You will support new technology integration including TMS/WMS upgrades and advanced analytics implementation.
 
In addition, you will manage the logistics budget, identifying opportunities for cost optimization while maintaining service levels and drive cost transformation programs, including network efficiency initiatives, inventory flow improvements etc.
 
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in both logistics operations and change management, particularly in distribution network design, cost management and process optimisation. You will have a proven track record in managing 3PL providers and transportation networks coupled with excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
