The Role & The Organisation

Our client is one of the best regarded Wealth Management brands in Australia. You’ll join a high performing Fund Services team with a cohesive culture, to provide banking and reconciliation, regulatory reporting, accounting and tax processing, and project support to various internal and external customers. 
 
Your Responsibilities
  • Bank reconciliation - to ensure all bank balances always agree to system balances, and outstanding items are effectively investigated and followed up.
  • Banking - to complete accurately on time.
  • Monthly GL balances - timely completion of monthly balance files with accurate reconciliations of all GL accounts.
  • Regulatory reporting - prepare and review BAS, APRA returns, Financial Reports and tax returns before lodgement.
  • Liaison with Auditors & Clients - ensure all enquiries are attended to.
  • Project and ad hoc tasks.
 
Skill Requirements:
 
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in Superannuation.
  • Good understanding of Superannuation and tax law
  • The ability to meet deadlines and objectives in a busy commercial environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • CA / CPA qualified
