We are currently recruiting for a Senior Fund Accountant to join one of Australia's largest property funds. Based in the CBD this commercially focused role provides a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with one of Australia's leading employers in a contract position likely to extend beyond the initial 4 months and potentially becoming permanent.

Duties

  • Delivery of maintenance, improvement and preparation of financial analyst models to deliver accurate and insightful information to support business decisions.
  • Review and interpretation of data related to funds performance.
  • Oversight of finance systems and processes to ensure the delivery of accurate and timely financial information.
  • Own the delivery of financial information and administrative activities required of the funds and ensure they meet the requirements of all legislative and Investment Management Agreements/Fund Constitutions.
  • Contribute to the successful execution of finance improvement initiatives across the Australia region.

Experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and technical post tertiary qualifications which include CPA, CA or CFA qualifications.
  • Experience in financial reporting, financial planning & analytics or a related field.
  • Data management and/or dashboard experience in building a visual platform.
  • Experience with process improvement and experience with Alteryx or Power BI is desirable.
