The Funds Finance team within Investment Management Business Unit is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst. The role is responsible for supporting the accounting, distribution and tax reporting across the funds platform, working with the Funds Finance business partners to meet their strategic objectives and compliance obligations. 

This role will see you support the Finance Manager with the delivery of financial accounting, tax reporting, analytical and administrative activities required for the Funds and Mandates to meet the requirements of all legislative and Investment Management Agreements/Fund Constitutions.   

This includes but is not limited to: 

  • Maintenance of general ledger / and trial balance for the assigned funds / mandates

  • Calculation of Fund CUVs, Fund distributions and management fees, 

  • The preparation of Fund associated regulatory reporting, including annual financial statements

  • Delivery of tax compliance obligations including annual returns, quarterly tax calculations and monthly BAS, 

  • Providing support to the Funds Managers, Funds Business Partners, Funds Finance Team Lead, Transactional Services and Owners in the provision of financial information as required, 

  • Providing necessary support to enable auditor and tax consultant signoffs for the nominated funds / mandates

  • Contribute, where possible, to the successful execution of finance improvement initiatives across the funds finance platform 

Must have skills & experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of property fund experience
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and CA or CPA qualifications.  
Nice to have skills & experience:

  • Experience with Yardi
Assignment is full-time for 6 months (end date 28/02/2023) with the potential to be extended or converted to permanent. Candidate must have in the Barangaroo office a minimum of 3 days per week, up to candidate to choose which days they prefer.
