Our client is a well-regarded General Insurer looking for a Senior Actuarial Analyst to join their established valuations and capital management team. This role will be reporting to an experienced and personable leader and will lead junior analysts in the team.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting data and statistical analysis, projections, and predictive modelling to analyse reserving and capital management assumptions.
  • Developing models to evaluate risks and impacts of profitability and solvency.
  • Reporting on reserving and capital management trends.
  • Contributing to the improvement and implementation of actuarial reporting process.
  • Participating in agile transformation project and process improvement initiatives.
  • Supporting the development of junior analysts.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Circa 2-4 years’ actuarial experience in general insurance.
  • Background in reserving, capital management and/or pricing.
  • Prior experience using SAS.
  • Tertiary qualifications in actuarial, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or related field.
