Our client, a global player in the safety and survival equipment solutions is currently seeking a Sales Manager for the Marine Aftermarket sector. You will manage aftermarket contracts assigned/agreed customer accounts or prospects to sell company products such as new build projects within Southeast Asia with a focus Singapore’s marine industry.
Responsibilities:
Drive organic business growth, by generating revenue from new and existing customers and markets. Own and manage all direct sales channels and the bid activity required to serve those channels.
Provide deep customer insights back into the Product team
Contacts assigned/agreed customers or prospects to sell company products within a designated geography or market sector. Focuses on meeting personal sales targets, new business development, maintaining customer relationships and troubleshooting specific customer problems.
Develops a sales plan to deliver revenue retention, revenue growth and new business for personal customer portfolio or sector, to meet or exceed personal sales targets and drive overall organic business growth ambition.
Develops and implements client relationship management plans to identify and build relationships with relevant decision makers and influencers within own customer portfolio organisations
Configures product and services solutions and associated contractual terms that meet the customers' mid- to long-term needs, taking input from relevant internal specialists. Presents the solution to customer representatives and negotiates agreement within a pre-defined range of commercial parameters.
Collaborates internally and works as the customer champion in cross-functional teams to build strong external customer relationships.
Requirements:
Experience as a Sales Manager within the Marine or Fire industry
Experience in direct sales
Builds strong customer relationships and delivers customer-centric solutions
Natural hunter mentality and drive
