Our client (a listed MNC Pharmaceutical) is looking for a Sales Director / Marketing Director OR Business Unit (BU) Head for their expanding Beijing Team.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a national sales and marketing team to achieve business objectives through deep understanding of competitive landscape, partnering effectively with core team, and building a high-performing team.
  • Develop overall Marketing strategy for product portfolio management and new product launch, and lead brand teams to define relevant target customers, market segmentations and geographic areas with disciplined strategy to maximize RRD portfolios.
  • Conduct business activities in accordance with the code of ethics and legal requirements.
  • Build ateam with high-performance, compliant, and highly dedicated, lead and guide Regional Sales Managers to develop plans for the continuous development of sales team, and develop a capable successor.
  • Responsible for developing & executing sales strategy & priorities to support the achievement of business objectives.
  • Relationship and trust building with key customers, core partners, and internal stakeholders in MKT, Operation, Supply Chain, Medical etc. to create and maintain a sustainable foundation for future growth.
  • Monitor competitor activity and adjust sales approach to create the best possible outcome for the customer and our business growth.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor or above in Pharmacy, Biology, Medical or related field.
  • 10 years or more of commercial managerial responsibility in pharmaceutical industry; with deep understanding and experience in rare diseases or oncology field is preferred.
  • Strong strategic planning and analysis skills in sales, marketing, and business strategy.
  • Position requires independent judgment and initiative, strong attention to  detail and the ability to anticipate needs and can accomplish tasks without direction.
  • Demonstrated leadership to manage the team.
  • Resilience & Strong Influence skill; Proven success in delivering results in an evolving landscape.
  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills, Fluent in English.
