I am currently working with a Medical Device new entrant to the Singapore who are looking for a R&D Director to oversee their new product pipeline.
This isn’t a role involving the management of a large R&D organisation but actually focused on working in partnership with local institutions to see where there is the potential for collaboration.
The agreements with the institutions are in place, so you will be offering support to founders in the development of their products, less hands-on design and more advisory.
The R&D Director will be responsible for:
Lead and manage a diverse team in developing medical device products, ensuring they meet design, performance, and regulatory standards.
Create and oversee project plans, budgets, and timelines to achieve project goals and milestones effectively.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to navigate technical, regulatory, and market challenges for successful product development and commercialization.
The R&D Director will be responsible for:
Relevant R&D management experience in the medical device industry, demonstrating successful product development and commercialization.
In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements for medical devices, including FDA regulations and ISO 13485, with a track record of compliance.
