A well-capitalised proprietary trading group is expanding its commodities business and looking for experienced Futures Traders to join across multiple desks. Roles are available in:
  • Precious & Base Metals – Gold, Silver, Copper, Aluminium
  • Ferrous Complex – Iron Ore, Steel, Coal
  • Agricultural Commodities – Grains, Soy, Oils
You will take ownership of trading strategies in your product space, operating with significant autonomy while leveraging institutional infrastructure. The desk actively trades both Asian and international futures markets, with a focus on capturing relative value and arbitrage opportunities.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Develop and execute arbitrage and relative value strategies in your product space.
  • Monitor domestic and international futures markets for pricing opportunities.
  • Stay on top of supply/demand fundamentals, policy changes and market flows.
  • Manage your own PnL while collaborating with a wider team of commodity traders.

What We’re Looking For:
  • 5 years’ experience in commodity futures trading with a profitable track record.
  • Product expertise in ferrous metals, agriculture, or precious/base metals.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative ability; decisive and resilient under pressure.
  • Familiarity with Chinese onshore futures (DCE/ZCE/SHFE) and global exchanges is a strong advantage.
