A global end to end Logistics Service Provider with their regional HQ in Singapore are recruiting for a Sales Manager for Asia Pacific (Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam). You will report directly to the Senior Manager and be responsible for the growth and expansion of the clearing and freight forwarding general cargo desk.
The Sales Manager will concentrate on sourcing new clearing and forwarding enterprises focussing on local import and export business whilst building a new client base. You will lead and develop a sales strategy utilising your global network to forge relationships with customers, shippers, brokers, carriers, port operators, and authorities.
There is a preference for a candidate to be educated to degree level in a logistics field. The right candidate will have 5 years of sale experience in a logistics sales hunter role. You will be a self starter and results driven as well as having the ability to work under pressure in a fast pace environment. There will be a requirement for some travel within the region.
