We are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a leading Media business based in Sydney. This market leader is at the forefront of the sector and offers an opportunity to join a fast paced innovative team.
The role will support the business across all financial reporting and analysis requirements.
Duties
Preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecast
Prepare internal management financial packs and meeting decks.
Provide ad hoc analysis on profitability and commercial viability of new business opportunities
Responsible for financial reporting, including; monthly accounts, internal reporting, month end journals and reconciliations.
Assist internal and external audit process.
Assist in training/mentoring of new staff.
Candidate Profile
Qualified (CPA, CA, CIMA, ACCA)
Strong technical accounting experience and commercial acumen
Proven track record of building relationships across a diverse stakeholder group
Confident at challenging the status quo and both influencing and challenging decisions
Advanced Excel skills
