Leading Australian Financial Services group and employer of choice have an urgent requirement for an investment accountant within their investment management function.  This a newly created role within the team which has come about due to growth - it will initially be a 3 month contract but with a view to permanent for the right candidate.  The role reports into the investment accounting manager and works with a close knit and supportive team. 

Key deliverables will include preparing various financial reports to clients and other stakeholders, in accordance with the mandated and statutory or regulatory requirements and on an accurate and timely basis. In addition, you will be responsible for performing daily investment administration activities such as unit pricing and other daily reporting, and project related tasks as required.


Key skills and experience:
  • Degree qualification in Accounting
  • CA / CPA or studying towards
  • 3 year + general accounting experience and strong reconciliation skills required
  • Experience in fund accounting, unit pricing preferred
  • Experience in Hi-Portfolio, SAP Finance
  • A team player with strong analytical and communication skills
