Join a global reinsurance business in their digital innovation and solutions hub (APAC) as Head of SEA. In this role, you will lead a newly created team to focus on solving our industry's gaps and pain points. You will design and build innovative solutions to address the clients' problems via data, technology, customer insights, innovative products and services. As a business, they are looking for individuals that can work as a team and organization towards goals of continuous growth and commitment to innovation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify market opportunities and challenges in the life and health (re)insurance industry.

  • Work with clients and distribution channels to understand customer needs and develop customer insights.

  • Develop innovative InsurTech solutions by integrating data, customer insights, products, service and latest technology.

  • Externally, partner with digital distributors, latest technology start-ups and companies and jointly commercialise innovative propositions.

  • Focus on key partners in chronic disease management, telemedicine, TPAs, pharmaceutical , hospital groups and related.


Key Requirements

  • Must have track record in leading and implementing insurance innovations and solutions via new technologies and alternative distribution channels.

  • Able to conduct Business Development work and worked with C-suite stakeholders.

  • Must have experience working in Southeast Asian markets.

  • Degree in any of the following fields – Computer Science, Health care Technology

  • Demonstrate experience in the following- digital distribution, digital product development and digital underwriting

  • Health experience and knowledge across SEA markets would be strongly preferred.

  • Strong problem solving skills and execution skills.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
