Our client is a leading wealth management group and employer of choice.  They are currently looking for a finance business partner with Wealth/FS background to join their decision support and insights team. 

Reporting to the head of decision support you will focus on partnering with the Wealth Business to coordinate the development of key performance & Insight analysis and reports to ensure the Wealth strategies and performance are visible across the group. This role is also responsible for the identification and articulation of external market trends as they impact the business, and to assess various strategic initiatives including corporate development activities.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Working collaboratively across finance and business teams to collate, analyse and report key messages
  • Research competitor results and business information to gain insights and ensure all deliverables are of a high quality
  • Deliver key reporting activities including monthly Exco and board reports, Analysis Reports, competitor results and Wealth LT Updates
  • Build, develop and maintain strong working relationships with other CFO and Wealth Business teams to source the input and analysis for the performance insight reports
  • Lead by example to support and demonstrate a risk management culture 
Skills & Experience
  • CA/CPA/CIMA qualified 
  • 5+ Proven experience in Banking or Wealth industry  
  • Well developed stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior levels
  • Sound understanding of domestic and global drivers of change within the Financial Services industry
  • Understanding of standard financial and valuation principles
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure
  • Excellent presentation skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
This is initially a 6 month contract role with a strong likelihood of converting to permanent.  They would like a candidate who is available to start within two weeks of receiving an offer.
