  • Must know GRI Standards, GHG Protocol, ISO14064, sustainability reporting frameworks


   Responsibilities would include: 

  • Assist in the development of environmental related policies, standards and guidelines in support of sustainability strategy for implementation in markets
  • Participate in the design of sustainability programs and drive implementation across the firm’s operations globally
  • Steward best practices focusing on greenhouse gas, energy, water and waste management
  • Analyze, report and utilize sustainability data to improve environmental footprint and guide sustainable practices
  • Perform functional assurance on environmental and social risks prior to investment decision
  • Steward physical climate risk assessment and mitigation processes in markets
  • Collaborate, educate, and support cross functional teams to ensure proper execution of group’s sustainability strategies and activities
  • Lead internal and external audits on environmental data validation
  • Support the preparation of annual Sustainability Report and reporting of sustainability data to global ratings eg. CDP

 
Profile of ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in energy and sustainability related works; open to candidates from all angles i.e banks, advisory, corporates etc as long as they have relevant ESG / sustainability expertise
  • Strong program / project management, organisational and communication skills
  • Proactive and resourceful, with strong problem solving and execution capability
  • MANDATORY: Working knowledge of the GRI Standards, GHG Protocol, ISO14064 and familiarity with other sustainability reporting frameworks
  • Family culture, lean team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
  • Team player who can work independently, adapt and learn quickly
