Responsibilities:
  • Ensure optimal inventory management to support corporate service level by working closely with sales and logistics teams to maintain product availability and delivery to customers
  • Lead monthly S&OP meeting with relevant stakeholders from logistics, sales & marketing teams
  • Ensure forecasting is accurate and aligned to annual sales target with relevant business units
  • Oversee master data creation and maintain all planning and data related systems (e.g. SAP, JDA, APO) to ensure accuracy and reduce obsolescence (SKU rationalisation, sell-offs etc.)
  • Close monitoring and management of operational KPIs (e.g. product availability, days of stock, forecast quality, timely release of purchasing orders) to prevent inventory shortage, ensure timely system alerts to relevant operational units and reporting to senior management
  • Handle the Phase in / Phase out processes to yield high customer satisfaction
  • Support in new product launches execution
  • Play an active role in continuous improvement projects (e.g. supply chain process improvement, cost cutting)
 
Requirements:
  • Master’s degree (basic degree in supply chain related domain) holder with 5+ years’ experience in demand planning, preferably in a direct sales business setting
  • Well-verse in SAP (S4/HANA, SAP R3, DRP, JDA, APO, BI, BW) and MS Office
  • APICS / Six Sigma (Green Belt) / LEAN Certification advantageous
  • Excellent communicator with strong analytical problem solving skills
  • Good negotiator with demonstrated execution & following-up skills to meet operational deadlines
