The Company: 

Leading environmental group is heavily expanding in Asia.  An exciting opportunity, for a Management Consultant to join the business, it is a critical time to be a part of this expansion.  This is a newly created role, a fundamental role to support the on-going projects and future projects of the Company.  The role essentially will have two parts, Chairman Office, direct reporting line to the Chairman and Owner and Strategy Manage, functional reporting line to the CFO.

Responsibilities: 

  • High level operational and strategic support to the Chairman
  • Offering reviews, analysis, recommendations and solutions to the business strategy, operations and growth opportunities
  • Working closely and effectively with the Chairman, informing of upcoming commitments and responsibilities
  • Acts as a “barometer”, sense for key issues taking place and opening communication to the Chairman
  • Successfully completing critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach
  • Coordinating a variety of special and confidential projects which may have an organisational impact
  • Provide a bridge for smooth communication between the Chairman and business line heads and internal department
  • Project Management, review of policies, recommendations
  • Functional reporting line to the CFO
  • Lead/support on annual corporate strategy developments
  • Conduct business modelling and analysis, both quantitative and qualitative
  • Evaluate the performance of current operations and recommend strategies, changes in priorities to achieve business goals
  • Continual business process improvements and implementing best practices
  • Improving management, operational and financial reporting systems and standards
  • Supporting joint ventures, mergers & acquisitions, fundraising and financing projects, including negotiations
Requirements: 
  • Business/Finance Master degree or above, MBA is preferred
  • 5-8 years working experience in Top-Tier Management Consulting Firms, corporate strategy/investment banking experience is a plus
  • Strong understanding of change management, organisational transformation, and operational excellent methodologies
  • Strong analytical capabilities and financial knowledge
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Problem solving skills
  • Ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly energetic, forward-looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
  • Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands
  • Willingness to travel 10-20% of the time
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin, German is a plus
