A leading Global Financial Institution have an excellent opportunity for a Category Leader to be based in Singapore and manage global spend for Software.
 
Leading a team of sourcing professionals, the Category Leader will be responsible for defining category strategy and developing a long-term road map for company software spend. You will lead the execution of strategic sourcing initiatives that will deliver sourcing solutions that
meet the needs of stakeholders in a cost effective and optimised manner. In addition, you will manage and develop the category team in the execution of procurement strategies and ensure best practices are communicated effectively to key stakeholders.
 
The successful candidate must have extensive experience in developing and implementing category strategy at both a regional and global level. You will have direct experience in managing technology spend as well as leading a team with a passion for talent development. In addition, you must be an effective communicator with the ability to engage and collaborate with key stakeholders globally.
