Our client is a licenced provider of safe and efficient money exchange and international remittance services to a wide range of retail and business customers. Currently established in NSW, QLD and TAS, the business is undergoing expansion with plans to branch into other states.

They are now looking for well networked and results driven Business Development Managers to help them grow the Remittance Business Line. The successful candidate will have the option to work hybrid or fully remotely.


Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new businesses with a focus on local retail & commercial clients that have needs for foreign exchange (FX) or international remittance.
  • Initiate and manage client pipelines through networks, industry networking events / functions and referrals.
  • Organise marketing events to generate valuable leads and increase brand awareness.
  • Follow up and convert leads from marketing campaigns, networking and  online advertising into new clients.
  • Build strong relationships with potential referral parties to establish new business channels.
  • Handle clients’ enquiries in an efficient and responsive manner, representing the company professionally at all times.
 
Skills & Requirements
  • Strong relationship building skills with at least 2 years of experience in a client-facing role in Australian Financial Services industry.
  • Proven record of successfully achieving sales targets and exceeding KPIs.
  • Experience (or network) in Mortgage Broking, Premier Banking, SIV or Business Forums is highly desirable.
  • Holder of a non-restricted AU work visa or AU PR/Citizenship.
  • Ability to speak a second language such as Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Arabic etc. is highly advantageous.
