An opportunity has arisen with a globally leading insuretech, to join as a Business Development Director in a newly formed team. In the role, you will be responsible for growing the businesses presence across Asia focusing on the Indian Subcontinent region.
As this in a newly formed team, the hiring manager is keen to see people from different backgrounds from within insurance, however experience of property and casualty as a broker would be preferred.
 
Key responsibilities:
  • Work to establish the companies presence across the India subcontinent region, this is a newly formed role and will be in a fast moving environment
  • Grow and develop the channel through winning new business/hunter mentality
  • Ensure that all sales & operational processes are compliant with all regulatory requirements
  • Ability to assess new business leads and develop key long term relationships

Experience
  • At least 6 years of overall experience within insurance – preferably as a broker  
  • Exposure to broking would be preferred
  • Self-motivated with the ability to identify key issues and recommend practical solution.
