Responsibilities would include:
  • Work as part of a team dedicated to dealing with various sorts of loans and their documentations i.e Project and export finance, structured loans, general syndicated loans, real estate finance, leveraged and acquisition finance, and other loan products as required; Escrow/account bank transactions, and CDP Bond Programmes (MTN/CP)
  • Coordinate with internal and external counsel, senior business managers, arrangers, lenders and other stakeholders etc
  • Review and negotiate documentation for new transactions and other post-closing matters ranging from routine non material waivers to defaults and enforcement situations
  • Work closely with the Client Services, Business Development and Risk teams
  • Work pro-actively with clients to ensure a smooth and high standard of service delivery to our clients
  • Help Business Development identify possible areas of product expansion as well as maintain existing clients
  • Responsible for the on-boarding of new transactions and effecting a successful hand-over to the relevant Client Services teams for post-closing administration
 
Profile of ideal candidate:
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • Years of relevant experience: 4-5 years (AVP), 6-10 years (VP)
  • Previous experience in a comparable role either within a law firm / legally trained in operational or documentation knowledge OR a similar loan transaction management role in another bank
  • Need to have loan experience, in documentation / agency/ transactions, and understanding of loans i.e loan syndication, project finance, export finance, structured loans, leveraged loans etc (experience across all types is not mandatory, but some of it is helpful)
  • Suitable for candidates who want to be more front facing - Client focused, able to speak to clients, eg. funds, SWFs, corporates, lawyers
  • Strong time management and negotiation skills, good stakeholder management to deal with internal/ external stakeholders
  • Proactive, positive and flexible attitude
  • Team player, family culture
