The Opportunity
We are partnering with a leading international bank to identify a Relationship Manager for their International Banking division here in Singapore. The organisation is expanding its cross-border wealth corridor serving Malaysian clients, reflecting sustained demand from this segment for offshore banking and investment solutions.

The Role
The Relationship Manager will manage and grow a portfolio of Malaysian U/HNW and affluent clients. The successful candidate will join at a time of deliberate team build-out, with a mandate to grow new business alongside portfolio deepening across deposits, investments, and bancassurance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow a cross-border book of Malaysian U/HNW and affluent clients, driving AUM growth and revenue targets
  • Originate new client relationships through referrals, networking, and self-sourced pipelines within the Malaysia corridor
  • Deliver holistic financial planning conversations across deposits, structured products, unit trusts, and bancassurance solutions
  • Collaborate with product specialists and internal partners to deliver comprehensive, needs-based client solutions
  • Ensure full compliance with KYC, AML, and regulatory requirements across all client interactions

Candidate Profile
  • Minimum 4–6 years of relationship management experience within banking and financial services
  • Demonstrated track record managing Malaysian client segments, either onshore or in an offshore capacity from Singapore
  • Existing network within the Malaysian U/HNW or affluent community, with portable client relationships an advantage
  • Ability to converse in Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin is an advantage, as the role involves regular client interaction where proficiency in these languages supports relationship-building and client experience
